摘要: As an extension of switched systems, this talk presents a new formulation of generalized switched systems. Such a formulation allows switching among different types of systems. Hence a hybrid system can be treated as a special case of generalized switched systems. In particular, this framework makes it possible to design switching signals between continuous-time systems and discrete-time systems in order to achieve a better performance. This talk lays the foundation of generalized switched systems by proposing fundamental definitions and stability results. The concept of output persistent excitation condition is proposed with its link to uniform global asymptotic stability. To illustrate the usefulness of this new formulation, hybrid systems are studied and some stability results are proposed to show how this formulation works.
